輸入規制・関税
- New Zealand requires all used machinery to pass MPI biosecurity inspection on arrival. Machines found to have soil or organic contamination on arrival are subject to mandatory on-site cleaning at the importer's cost — which can be expensive and cause significant port delays. We arrange thorough pre-export cleaning in Japan and provide MPI-compliant documentation to help your machine clear biosecurity on first inspection.
- New Zealand applies a standard 5% import duty on most used construction machinery plus GST of 15% on the landed value. Most machinery under HS Chapter 84 is eligible for duty-free entry under the General Tariff or relevant Free Trade Agreement provisions. Confirm applicable duty rate with your New Zealand customs broker before purchase.

ニュージーランドへの輸出 — よくある質問
How long does shipping take from Japan to New Zealand?
Transit time from Japan to Auckland is typically 12-18 days. Christchurch (Lyttelton) and Wellington take similar time. We ship RORO from Japanese ports with regular New Zealand services available.
What biosecurity requirements apply to machinery imported into New Zealand?
New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has strict biosecurity requirements for all used machinery. All machines must be cleaned to MPI approved standards — free of soil, seeds, plant material, and organic matter. We arrange professional biosecurity cleaning at our Japan facility and provide MPI compliant cleaning declarations.
Is CIF pricing available to New Zealand ports?
Yes. We offer CIF pricing to Auckland, Lyttelton (Christchurch), Wellington, and Tauranga. Contact us with your machine requirements for a full CIF quote to your nearest New Zealand port.
What machinery is most popular for New Zealand construction?
Komatsu PC130 and Hitachi ZX130 excavators are most popular for New Zealand civil construction. Yanmar and Kubota mini excavators are widely used for residential and landscaping projects. Komatsu WA380 wheel loaders are popular in quarry and agricultural operations across both islands.
